  1. Our community theater is preparing a small production, and I am helping choose a wig for one of the characters. We already have a dark coat and a light scarf, which leaves the wig as the most noticeable remaining color choice. We can borrow samples in warmer brown, cooler brown, and muted red, but we will eventually need to select just one. I have been reading about personal palettes and came across this reference while looking for background on color analysis as a starting point for further reading. It seems like background for the conversation; our character design may call for a different effect from an ordinary personal look. The practical problem is that our rehearsal room and the stage use different lights, making a quick mirror comparison feel incomplete. What order would you use for a daylight check, a costume fitting, and a short test under the intended stage lighting? Please share a workable way to compare these options together, so the decision does not depend entirely on one volunteer’s first impression.
